The piece
The light jacket direction is paired with 10 oz ripstop trousers. The clean white styling highlights the contrast between the jacket weave and the grid-like structure of the trouser fabric.

A fitted or half-tucked upper layer gives the eye a waistline to read. Volume on volume erases the silhouette the pleats are doing the work to create.
A longer drop wants a flatter, squarer shoe so the fabric breaks cleanly. Shortening the break — a cuff or a higher waist tie — makes room for a heavier boot.
